You’re in pain – the result of an auto or work-related accident or a sports injury. Or pain that started off slight but grew increasingly worse and chronic over time. Or pain related to aging or to other ailments, to where it’s becoming chronic. If you seek a West Los Angeles chiropractor, please know this: our entire focus is to get you feeling better as quickly as possible, and then keep you that way.About 90 percent of our patients experience relief from their pain after just one visit!
For the past 25 years, thousands of patients have come to our family-friendly office on Santa Monica Blvd., one block west of Bundy Drive, here on the west side of Los Angeles, just east of Santa Monica and just south of Brentwood. We provide them relief of pain through chiropractic and a variety of other holistic wellness services.
Most patients initially seek a chiropractor to help them with back pain. This pain can be in the upper back, neck, shoulders and arms. Or in the lower back, perhaps running down the sciatic nerves in the legs
Again, our goal is to provide the quickest possible relief from pain, and we’ve been very successful over the years. We’ve also had many patients with migraines and severe headaches, because 80 percent of headaches are due to nerve pressure in the neck (many of our patients with severe headaches have been pleasantly surprised by the results of chiropractic treatment, such as no longer requiring medication).
Adjustments from an experienced chiropractor yield benefits well beyond pain relief, because the nerves, centered in the spine, go out to the body’s organs (see our interactive chart correlating each vertebrae to the body parts they affect). In fact, chiropractic care was developed in the late 18th century as a means to help the brain and body communicate correctly. Chiropractic treatments can have far-reaching impacts on the body; for example, over the years, many women previously unable to conceive have reported becoming pregnant after receiving chiropractic treatment.
Our experience over these many years shows that our patients tend to get healthy when they start coming here. Our philosophy is that overall health is holistic, much like a bike tire, where every spoke is important. Our staff will teach you about the spine and its relationship to the rest of your body.
We also educate our patients on all dimensions of health, such as nutrition and exercise. Most often this is just a “value-add” of being our patient—not special services requiring additional cost.
In addition to services by West Los Angeles chiropractor Michael Cooper, the Cooper Chiropractic Wellness Center also offers several specialized services led by their own professional health care practitioners. These include physical therapy and Massage Therapy.
We've been treating patients that have been involved in car accidents for more than 25 years, and we have excellent results in getting patients back to their pre-accident level of health. Our office is one of the few offices that also offers massage therapy to help get you well as quickly as possible. We've worked with many attorneys throughout the years, and will also work on a lien basis, so there are no out-of-pocket expenses on your part.
There are never any long-term obligations in visiting us or becoming our patient. We promise no hidden fees or other unpleasant surprises. We accept all insurance that covers chiropractic, except for Medicaid and MediCal (we will work something out with patients in need).
We always provide a free consultation on your first visit. For first-time visits, we offer several Special Offers, such as an exam and adjustment for only $45 (or no co-pay). We also have Coupons for massages and nutrition and weight-loss consultations.
During your visit we’ll provide you with an assessment and a recommended treatment plan, as is appropriate. This means we’ll discuss your situation, your relevant health history, and will provide you with an explanation of chiropractic, and how nerve pressure on the spine correlates to your pain, as well as its impact on other parts of your body.
